Vision, Mission & Values

Vision & Mission

Vision

Our vision is a society where everyone is able to lead a healthy and happy lifestyle as an active part of their community.

Mission

Our mission is to provide personalised education and training opportunities that celebrate individual achievement, foster social inclusion and empower young and vulnerable people to reach their potential.

Value #1: Environment

  • Protecting the environment and local ecology with organic farming methods
  • Promoting conservation, wildlife habitats and recycling
  • Committed to improving the health of the environment without the use of chemicals

We are an organic farm, adopting farming practices that protect the environment, public health and animal welfare. We do not use toxic chemical pesticides and we maintain healthy eco systems. Our livestock are able to move freely, engage in instinctive behaviours and consume a natural diet. We breed and support rare breed livestock to help reduce the risk of some breeds becoming extinct.

Value #2: Individual Development

  • Our unique programmes are tailored to meet individual needs
  • Support individuals to gain independence and overcome personal challenges
  • Develop practical, interpersonal and employability skills of all individuals
  • Ensure a safe nurturing environment
  • Provide activities to gain a range of skills and to increase confidence

By providing a small nurturing environment, individuals are able to express themselves freely and we are better able to provide opportunities for development to meet trainee needs.

Value #3: Social

  • Encourage open communication, responsibility, respect and teamwork
  • Reduce feelings of anxiety, tension and isolation
  • Support social networks, building up trust and forming positive relationships
  • To foster a mutually supportive, caring and social community
  • Create a sense of calm, belonging and safety

We are committed to working in a person-centred way, providing an environment where individuals are given opportunities and encouragement to develop social skills, teamwork and form positive relationships

Value #4: Health

  • Improve physical and mental health of all individuals with outdoor physical activities
  • Provide structure and meaningful activities
  • Focus on positive reinforcement, enjoyment and fun
  • Monitor progress and celebrate achievement
