“My son Rob has been attending Vana Trust for many years and he loves it. He has learnt so many new skills, it's developed his social skills as he has to work with others as part of a team, he's become much more confident at trying new things and it's taught him empathy and understanding of others. Getting out in the fresh air and doing physical jobs means Rob is also much more fit and active. He loves looking after the animals and doesn't even mind cleaning them out. I always judge how Robs days been by how muddy he comes home. The muddier the better the day. He's helped put up fences, planting, weeding, cleaning out and harvesting food. He would never of learnt these skills without Vana Trust and especially Sharon's support. I find it difficult putting into words just what an amazing woman Sharon is. She is amazing with Rob and can read him like a book. She's supported Rob through some tough times and Rob and I certainly couldn't cope without Sharon and Vana Trust”
